Haylee Mei was born December 8, 2007. Her Chinese name is Qian Guihong. Xu says her name means wealth, precious or noble, and red. She currently resides in the Dongguan Children's Welfare Institute in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. We will be staying in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong, for the entire two weeks we are in China. The US consulate is in Guangzhou so all adoptive parents must come there in order to complete their adoptions.
